This daily painting explores my love of the visual aspects of sushi. Two rolls and two nigiri are accompanied by wasabi and pickled ginger. 

The painting is oil on canvas and measures approximately 15 x 15 cm (6x6in). The sides of the canvas are painted black, making the painting ready for hanging even without a frame.
